Note: The quotas and limits detailed below apply strictly to our standalone email accounts. If you are managing email addresses created directly within a cPanel web hosting subscription, please refer to our standard web hosting email resource documentation instead.

Detailed Platform Limits & Sending Policies
Basic & Advanced Email (PapaMail)
HostPapa’s Basic and Advanced email solutions operate on the PapaMail service infrastructure. These plans are optimized for steady, everyday business communication.
- Daily Multi-Recipient Rules: Senders are configured with a standard limit of 500 recipients or messages per rolling 24-hour window.
- Mass Mailing Restriction: In alignment with the HostPapa Email Mass Mailing Policy, sending messages to single group recipients is classified as mass mailing and is prohibited by default.
- Device Syncing: Unlike entry-level web hosting setups, standalone PapaMail profiles grant unlimited concurrent IMAP connections. This ensures your inbox stays perfectly synchronized across all laptops, phones, and tablets simultaneously without dropping authorization. However, we recommend using no more than 5 devices.
OPB (AI Website Builder) Email
The OPB email service is integrated with HostPapa’s AI Website Builder platform, providing essential communication tools alongside your website.
- Storage and Account Limits by Plan: Email features vary by the OPB tier you are subscribed to. While all plans include a total of 5 GB overall email storage, the maximum number of email accounts allowed differs:
- Basic: Up to 3 email accounts
- Advanced: Up to 10 email accounts
- Business: Up to 10 email accounts
- Premium: Up to 15 email accounts
- Enterprise: Up to 20 email accounts
- Daily Sending Limits: Outbound communication is capped at a maximum of 500 unique recipients per day when sending via an email client using SMTP, or 300 unique recipients per day when sending directly through the Webmail interface.
- Per-Message Limits: A single email message cannot exceed a maximum of 100 unique recipients.
- Attachment Size: The maximum allowable size for file attachments is 25 MB per email.
Google Workspace
Google Workspace provides business-class email routing on top of the familiar consumer Gmail framework.
- System Capacity vs. Safe Limits: Paid accounts feature a maximum limit of 2,000 outgoing emails per day (restricted to 1,500 messages per day if leveraging the internal multi-send/mail merge engine). Newly provisioned or trial mailboxes carry a baseline threshold of 500 emails per day until automated payment verification concludes.
- External Recipient Capping: Users in the same Google Workspace account can interact with up to 10,000 total daily recipient-count. However,unique external addresses (recipients outside your primary workspace account) are restricted to 2,000 per day.
- Bulk/Mass mailing: Google Workspace is not designed for marketing campaigns or electronic newsletters since Google can suspend or deactivate an account to their discretion if your Google Workspace account receives too many reports about sending unsolicited emails.
Microsoft 365 Business
Microsoft 365 Business tiers are architected for enterprise-grade performance and are closely integrated with the Microsoft Outlook ecosystem.
- Recipient Thresholds: Microsoft 365 offers a generous outbound limit of up to 10,000 recipients per user per day. If a user reaches this threshold, outbound capabilities are automatically locked until a rolling 24-hour window expires.
- Storage Profiles: Standalone plans yield 50 GB of standalone mailbox storage which can be expanded to 100 GB.
- Bulk/Mass mailing: Microsoft 365 Business is not designed for marketing campaigns or electronic newsletters since Microsoft can suspend or deactivate an account to their discretion if your Microsoft 365 Business account receives too many reports about sending unsolicited emails.
IMPORTANT: For all of our email services plan, if one of your users is suspended for reaching the daily sending limit, we are not able to lift the suspension and the user will be unable to send emails for up to 24 hours.
