Types of Premium Domains
Registry Premium Domains
These are designated as premium by the registry (for example, the TLD operator such as Verisign for .com).
- Higher registration/renewal fees set by the registry.
- Never owned by end customers before.
- Examples: short names and generic keywords (for instance, hotels.com, pizza.online).
- HostPapa position: We don’t sell these. The price shown is for reference only.
Aftermarket Premium Domains
Domains already owned by third parties are resold at a premium fee.
- The current owner sets the high sale price.
- Sold via marketplaces, brokers, or auctions.
- HostPapa position: We don’t handle these sales directly.
Where to Acquire Premium Domains
BrandPa (our partner brand) specializes in premium aftermarket domains:
- Acquire through the BrandPa marketplace.
- Once purchased, the domains transfer to you as regular domains.
- Standard HostPapa renewal rates apply afterward.
- Full management is available in the HostPapa Dashboard post-transfer.
