Sometimes you might be working on a page or blog post and you’re not ready to publish it immediately. If this is the case you can save the page or post as a draft and come back to it later.
From the New Post page, click on Edit status in the Publish meta box.
Then select the appropriate item from the dropdown menu.
Then click Save Draft. When you are ready to publish your post or page click Publish.
