Here are the two most common reasons why your SiteLock report may only show a portion of your website being scanned:
1. Your current SiteLock package may not support the number of pages within your website. The supported number of pages is up to 500 pages.
You can upgrade at any time through your HostPapa dashboard. Here’s how:
-
Log in to your dashboard: https://www.hostpapa.com/dashboard
-
On the welcome page, you will see all the domains you have hosted with HostPapa. Under the Sitelock icon, click the Add to account link.
-
If prompted, enter your Username and Password.
-
On the new page, select the domain you want to have the Sitelock Seal installed on.
-
Select which service you would like to install, Basic, Premium, or Enterprise.
-
Enter your payment information and click Continue.
2. If your SiteLock package supports the number of pages within your site, it’s possible the “SiteLock spider” is unable to locate all of the pages.
In many cases, this occurs when portions of your site are not linked in some way to the home page. Since the “SiteLock spider” works by “crawling” from link to link on your site, unlinked pages can be missed.
For a more comprehensive scan, you can upload an XML sitemap file to your site that will tell the SiteLock spider where to look.
