This article provides details about how to manage the calendars and contacts within cPanel. For calendars the CalDav feature is used, which is an internet standard that allows applications to access and manage calendar information on a remote server.
For address book (contacts) cPanel is using CardDav which is an internet protocol specifically designed for managing contact information.
Accessing calendar and contacts management:
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Locate the Email section and find Calendars and Contacts Management.

Managing calendars and address books:
- Viewing Existing Calendars/Address Books: cPanel displays a list of your existing calendars and address books. This list typically includes details like name, description, and creation date.
- Creating New Calendars/Address Books:
- Click the Create button within the Calendars and Contacts Management interface.
- Choose Calendar for a calendar or Address book for contacts.
- Enter a name and optional description for your calendar/address book.
- Select a color for your calendar (if applicable).
- Click Submit to save the new collection.
- Editing Calendars/Address Books: Select the calendar/address book you want to edit and look for options to modify the name, description, or color.
- Deleting Calendars/Address Books: Select the unwanted calendar/address book and choose the Delete option (be cautious as deletion is permanent).
Sharing calendars and address books:

- cPanel allows sharing calendars and address books with other users on the same account.
- Locate the Calendars and Contacts Sharing section.
- Specify the user, calendar/address book to share, and the access level (read-only or edit access).
Starting with cPanel 120 you can no longer add or delegate calendars in Roundcube (a free web-based email client that uses IMAP and Ajax technology). Instead, you now add and share them in Webmail’s Calendars and Contacts Sharing interface.
Configuring calendars and address books:

Within this section you can find the exact settings that should be used to configure and synchronize the calendars and contacts on a local application. More details about how to set up the local applications can be found in the following article.
