How to manage Auto-Updates Plugins and Themes on Managed WordPress

The Managed WordPress Platform provides the flexibility to manage updates for WordPress core versions, plugins, and themes.

Enabling auto-updates ensures your site remains secure and up-to-date with the latest features while disabling them allows you to control when updates occur. This guide will help you manage auto-updates for WordPress core, plugins, and themes.

Enabling/Disabling Auto-Updates for WordPress Core, Plugins and Themes

1. Log in to your HostPapa Dashboard.

2. Click on My WordPress.

3. Select the name of the website you would like to manage.

4. Your Managed WordPress Dashboard will open. Click the Advanced tab.

5. From there, you can switch On/Off the following settings: 

Auto Update WordPress Core:

The Auto Update WordPress Core feature offers three options:

· Off: Disables WordPress Core auto-updates.

· Minor Versions: Automatically updates the WordPress core to minor versions only.

· Latest Version: Automatically updates the WordPress core to the latest version.
