All new Shared Hosting and Optimized WordPress Hosting plans include one free domain name registration. This registration can be used to either get a new domain through HostPapa, or transfer an existing domain for free to HostPapa.
To get the free domain, you must add it to your order when you buy a Shared Hosting or Optimized WordPress Hosting plan. Your hosting plan must have a billing term of 1 year or longer. Many popular domain name extensions are included in this offer, but there are some we cannot offer for free. Please see below for a list of included domain extensions. Please note that some domains are free only on certain HostPapa websites, and some domains may have additional requirements for registration.
The cost of the free domain is covered for one year, the first year of the hosting plan. After that first year, the domain name renews annually at the then-current price. If you cancel your hosting plan before the end of that first year, a non-refundable domain fee equal to the then-current price will be applied.
Please note that additional or “addon” domains registered on your account are not part of the free domain registration offer. To learn more about addon domains, check out our Knowledge Base article.
Additional domain features such as Domain Privacy are also excluded from this offer. HostPapa reserves the right to modify or end the offer at any time without notice.
