In this article, we’ll show you how to change the VPS hostname in the SolusVM dashboard.
From your main SolusVM Dashboard, select the Hostname tab.
In the New Hostname field, enter your desired new Hostname.
Click Change.
NOTE: The new Hostname must be set in the following format – newname.yourdomain.tld. You should also create an A record in the DNS zone for the new hostname.
