How to share your Google calendar

Want to let other people know if you’re available? In this article, we’ll show you how to share your Google Calendar with others to show them your schedule so they know when you are available.

To choose who to share your calendar with and how much they can see:

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. Click My Calendars to the left of your screen. To expand it, click the Down arrow.
  3. Hover over the calendar to be shared, and click More
  4. Click Settings and Sharing.
  5. Enter email addresses and set permissions for people you want to share with.
  6. Click Send.
  7. The recipient will be emailed a link to the calendar and will need to click it to add the calendar to their list.

To share your calendar with people who don’t use Google Calendar:

Note: In order to share your Google calendar with someone who doesn’t have their own Google account, you’ll need to make your calendar public.

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. Click My Calendars to the left of your screen. To expand it, click the Down arrow.
  3. Hover over the calendar to be shared, and click More
  4. Navigate to Access Permissions, and select Make available to public and choose the level of access you want to give.
