Error 0x800CCC65 is an error message that occurs when configuring an email client (like Microsoft Outlook) to be used with email services (like HostPapa’s Advanced Email); it is often related to configuration problems linked to ports, settings in an email client, or to the SMTP port 25 being blocked by an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
If you receive error 0x800CCC65, make sure your email client settings are configured correctly by comparing them to the settings listed here.
Alternatively, if you cannot use SSL over SMTP and are using port 25, you may be able to resolve error 0x800CCC65 by changing the SMTP port in your client software from 25 to 26. For more information, please see this article.
