It is critical that the primary email address HostPapa has on file for you is not one you set up through your HostPapa account.
For example, if your domain is yourdomain.com, then an associated email address you may use is yourname@yourdomain.com. However, you should set up yourname@gmail.com as a primary email address, since if there’s an issue with yourdomain.com, HostPapa would still be able to reach you at this address.
If you wish to update your primary email address, you must complete this change in 2 locations: in your cPanel and your HostPapa profile. You may update your email address at any time through your HostPapa dashboard. Here’s how:
How to update your email address in your cPanel account:
-
Log in to your HostPapa dashboard: https://hostpapa.com/dashboard
-
Click on My cPanel. If you have more than one domain associated with your HostPapa account, click on the appropriate domain link, then enter your cPanel password if required.
-
Click on My Profile.
-
Click the edit link beside Your Email Address.
-
Enter your new email address and click Save.
How to update your email address in your HostPapa Profile:
- Log in to your HostPapa dashboard: https://hostpapa.com/dashboard
- Click on your name.
- Click on My Profile.
- Under Contact Information click on [edit] beside Your E-Mail Address.
- Update the field with your new E-Mail Address.
- Click Save.
