What are Facebook Social plugins?

In a nutshell: Facebook Social plugins let you see what your friends have commented on, liked, or shared on other websites. Here are just four of the options available to you:
- The Like Button.
- The Send Button.

Getting started with Facebook Social plugins
After installing the application, you can apply it to any webpage by:
- Going to the Left Menu.
- Selecting the Add-Ons tab.
The Like Button
To share content with other people on Facebook, you can use the Like Button. Using this plugin lets your website visitors drive traffic to your website.
When someone clicks the Like Button on your website:
- A story appears in the user’s friends’ News Feed with a link back to your website.
The Send Button
