Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is a common standard for email transmission. Email clients typically use SMTP to send emails, while IMAP and POP standards are used to retrieve email messages. Please see below for the default email account settings for various email clients to help you edit your SMTP settings.
Default Email Account Settings for cPanel Email
NOTE: The incoming and outgoing server default setup is mail.domain.com where you would replace the domain.com part with the domain of the email address you are setting up.

NOTE: You can use the SSL or TLS option for outgoing email port, as shown below – both should work without issue.
