How to turn emails into tasks

Website Builder comes with the ability to turn your emails into tasks. This process saves you time and helps you focus on meeting deadlines. It’s also a handy feature if you receive customer details or orders via email.

Taskbox tagging

To turn your emails into tasks, Taskbox tagging must be enabled first.

To enable Taskbox tagging, please:

  1. Go to the Preferences tab.
  2. Select Advanced from the left-hand menu.

Under Message Settings, you will see the option to Enable Taskbox Tagging in the Inbox:

  • Check the checkbox to enable it, and then press Save.

Webmail provides a set of default tags—when Taskbox tagging is turned on—that includes:

  • To do.
  • Pending.
  • Priority.
  • Future.
  • Reference.

To turn an email into a task

  1. Select the email.
  2. Go to the area under Tags.
  3. Choose one of the following:
  • To Do.
  • Pending.
  • Priority.
  • Future.
  • Reference.

From your Inbox, you can see tagged tasks by using a filter. To do so:

  1. Go to the Mail tab.
  2. Click the search drop-down.
  3. Go to Filters.
  4. Select Tagged.
  5. Press Search.
