The way to find Google Maps
If you haven’t found Google Maps before, here are just a few tips about what this powerful application can do for your business. Google Maps can:
- Show customers the location of your office.
- Let everyone in the local community know about your next big event.
- Update new and old visitors about any changes to your business, such as working hours and location.
The Website Builder and Google Maps
The Website Builder has a built-in Google Map Application. The convenience of this feature makes it easy to add Google Maps to your webpages. To get started:
- Click on Add-Ons in the Left Menu.
- Click on Applications.
- Add the Google Maps Application to your account.
The Google Maps Application will now appear in the Add-Ons menu.
Adding Google Maps to your webpages
The element for Google Maps is added to a page in exactly the same way as any other content element. Now please:
- Drag and drop Google Maps from the Add-Ons tab.
- Place Google Maps on a blue area of the page.
By following the above two commands, Google Maps will appear on the page wherever you decide.
Adding locations to Google Maps
To add a location on Google Maps:
- Type in the Address, City, or Country.
- Click the Search button.
Or, alternatively, you can:
- Use your mouse to move the map to a desired location.
- Click on the location you have chosen.
Please note: Google Maps is only designed to be added to your website as an individual element. Unfortunately, it cannot be added inside a Text and Image editor.
