How to manage administrator accounts in AbanteCart

Users with AbanteCart administrator accounts have access to the administration dashboard, where they are able to make changes to your store’s configuration. You can create as many administrators as you wish and each account can be tailored with individual permissions.

Head to System > Users to view the current list of AbanteCart administrators.

You’ll see your own admin account, which is in a Group called Top Administrators – this group has the highest level of access, with permission to make any changes to your store. You can enable or disable an account using the Status buttons, or use the action buttons – Edit, Save and Delete – to manage each account.

To create a new admin account, click the Add + button at the top of the page.

Insert user page

Complete the Insert User form, entering a Username, First Name, Last Name and Password (twice, for verification). Use the User Group dropdown menu to place the user in a group, then enter the user’s E-Mail address. Click Save to complete account configuration.
