How to apply appointment status

Now that you have a great online business, you’ll soon find yourself inundated with appointments and trying to figure out how to organize them all. With HostPapa’s Appointment Scheduler, there is an easy colour-coded way to sort your appointments.

Getting organized

You can easily apply the following colour coding to your appointments. The colours will help you to filter your view of appointments based on the following statuses:

  1. Red: Rejected

If you are not available to attend an appointment, the Reject option will let your visitor know. They will be sent a message to let them know that you cannot attend the day or time they have chosen.

  1. Orange: Scheduled

Using this status colour lets your visitor know you’re confirming their requested appointment. They’ll be sent an email notifying them of the confirmation.

  1. Green: Requested

When a website visitor asks for an appointment, they will be sent an email notifying them of the time and date they have requested. If you are booking an appointment for your staff members, you will also see the Green requested status.

  1. Blue: Completed

You can choose the blue status once you have completed an appointment.
