Ai Dreams started as a simple forum for enthusiasts interested in artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual worlds, movies, television and more. As the forum grew into a thriving community, Davie expanded the website, adding articles, news feeds, an information database and more. As a HostPapa customer, Davie is impressed with the service he has received and the features a HostPapa package offers.
Davie says he switched to HostPapa because his former hosting company left a lot to be desired.
“I found a site which gave Hostpapa great reviews and the price was very reasonable, with better features than what we already had. It was an easy choice to make,” he says. “Our old hosting provider was no good at all: slow page loads, missing images and unserved data, slow back-end functions and extremely poor support. They just didn't know what they were doing. I became so frustrated that I went looking for someone better.”
Davie does his own coding by hand, but says HostPapa's “options are admirable…The software offered by Hostpapa is excellent. We run an SMF forum and I have been experimenting with Joomla for a new project I am thinking about doing. Installing software to your webspace is simple. Also the control panel is a real boon, and makes administration easy once you have taken the time to figure it out – a lot of it is pretty intuitive.”
All that said, Davie's favorite things about HostPapa are the speed of service and quality of support. “The support people really seem to know what they are doing,” he says, “and when you have problems they actually do something about it. Many places just blank you with scripted responses. If you use the online chat feature at Hostpapa you don't have any of those problems.
“I've tried quite a few hosting providers over the past five years or so and HostPapa beats all of them in all departments. And no, I am not getting paid for this!”
